im buying a Motherboard, CPU and ram bundle and will be putting it in my PC, after installing the bundle can i simply plug in my old hard drive with the OS and files and run it like normal?

Last time I tried to do this I had no luck and Windows would not boot it was a BSOD loop but I have seen people here say it worked fine for them.

If your Windows is a OEM copy from Dell,HP,Acer etc you will almost certainly lose activation as the license is assigned to the motherboard.

If it works fine for you when you boot into Windows install any of the new drivers for the system audio,chipset etc and remove all the old ones.

Quite rarely without issues, it's always best to have a clean install in my mind but if you really wanted too this tut would help.
