"lmfao" why suggest OP use a PoS case when he can afford better? 450W is indeed more than enough for a 970 and 4690k. If 450W can run a 4790k and 780Ti, it will run OP's rig. No point cheaping out on a cooler unless you want toasty components in comparison to a slightly more expensive, better, cooler.

Lol. You're right, a GTX 970 is worse than a GTX 970, I definitely shouldn't have recommended the same GPU. The motherboard I suggested is perfectly fine.

Lol. You're right, a GTX 970 is worse than a GTX 970, I definitely shouldn't have recommended the same GPU. The motherboard I suggested is perfectly fine.

LOL. same chipset doesn't mean same GPU. a zotac with a slower clock rate speed. or a MSI with a faster clock rate. A msi is better than zotac. I can't take you seriously anymore.

Simple solution. Overlcock it if it means that much..

They are going to perform exactly the same, maybe 1Fps difference on the odd occasion, do you think thats worth the extra $30 or so? or should you spend it more wisely like sanctyy suggested. Well i know what I'd do.

And are you going to overclock the CPU? If not then like i said before it needs altering.

I'm not arguing with you i will upgrade my case and psu and get a cooler but im not changing my gpu to something i dont trust. MSI makes high-quality video cards and that's something I trust. If it's 30$ more for something i trust i will choose that everytime.

Zotac are trusted. We wouldn't suggest it if it wasn't.
Zotac also makes high quality video cards.

Its just more money being spent on the brand name.
But its your money, just take note of what me and others have said about the other components.

Change the case, Mobo, PSU ,cooler(in other words go with sanctyy suggestion)

Zotac are a fantastic brand with great customer support. Any 970 with a non reference cooler is going to perform perfectly well. Pay the extra if you prefer the look of another cooler but don't sacrifice other components, such as PSU, CPU cooler or whatever else, just to get a 'prettier' GPU.

Just because the manufacturer is different doesn't mean the GPU is different. It's still a 970, overclock it and you'll be fine. Listen to Sancty. What he recommended is fine. Your PSU is a bit on the low and and will rek yourself, CPU cooler isn't gonna cut it for cooling and your case doesn't match the calibre of the rest of your build.

In short: Don't complain for getting told you're not right.

A twin frozr 970 has lower temperature meaning it will keep it cooler than a zotac. Which means i would be able to overclock it more. I never said just that cpu cooler is going to keep my pc cool. I plan on having 5 fans in my case. I will never get toasty componets because i dont plan on overclocking my cpu to 4.7 or anything crazy like that. I just don't understand why people automatically think a chipset makes the gpu the exact same but its not. Some GPU's with the same chipset can overclock better than others. And when i choose something i like someone else has to bash on me because it's 30 more expensive. But i guess that's life. It's my computer choice this build is for me. Not yhall. If i like the case. I like the **** case. I am the one who has to see it everyday. So im just going to be straight up and tell you guys something. Everyone is hard headed and won't listen. When i build my build i will personally pm you if i have any problems with any of the things that are "crap" and say you were right. I will get the liquid cooling though so i can overclock with less worries. I will choose a different case but its not going to be the one you recommended because I don't like how it looks. So go ahead flame me somemore about how my pc build is crap and its this and that. But everyone has their own opinions and im sure someone will tell you that the parts you recommend are crap. If you read all of this. You'll know that im getting whatever the hell I want and if they happen to suck oh f***ing well.
