This would definitely be a great business plan dude. I'm studying the 2nd to last year of IT/Web Development and it's absolutely awesome. If you're good at it and its what you want to do then go ahead.

TheOlympusClan wrote Thanks for the help. I was planing on starting just in the UK for a couple of years to see what kind of competition and challenges I will face and if i think it will be worth going nation wide. I know its optimistic but i really think i can get somewhere with the ideas and experiences i have had when i was gaming. I am willing on spending most of my time and spending just enough to make it through the month with food and utility bills and invest the rest in the the business.

I'm not being funny but you will need far more money than that...We are talking going to the bank and pulling out a massive loan kind of money.

I assume dollars?

That much in England is staggering. But i get about 10% of that per pentest on bigger companies so i do okay. It's not 70K a year okay, but still okay.

The only thing with going out and starting a business where you literally start from the bottom is that it will be a lot more money than you might think.

Before we even start to think how much it will cost to rent facilities, and everything you will need to for the business itself, you will need to think of how many people you are going to employ in your company. Nobody is going to work for your company for free, so you will have to pay them basically out of pocket for the first year anyways either an hourly wage or a salary since you have no profit from the company itself. I can tell you right now that the extra money you will have after you take away your taxes and your expenses from your salary will not be anywhere close to enough to pay your employees.

To start a business, especially one from the ground up, you are going to have to take out bank business loans, which if your company is unsuccessful, it can be quite the risk to take; especially if you are not experienced in the field of business management.

This takes a lot of risk, and also to make that 70k/year, you have to work another job, which will take time away from you focusing purely on your business.

Once you get the employees issue figured out, you must then figure out what your company is going to do. For a start, it sounds like you are going to be manufacturing computer/gaming parts. Take into consideration that you will need to lease facilities, and that can also be quite expensive depending on where you live. You will also need to figure out what you are manufacturing, and how you are going to market it to the public.

I wouldn't even worry about your plan to go Nation Wide until you first become successful locally. This could take years to get profits in your local business, and you are going to need to grow your business substantially before you even consider going nationally.
