So I've found that my Google chrome is running huge amounts of processes in the background.

I only run adblock as my only extension. I don't know why it's hitting it so high since I've got 6gb of ram. Would you recommend any other web browser?

And finally, what browser do you use?

If you're still interested in trying a new browser I would recommend Opera.

I have tried Opera before and personally, I didn't really like it. I need something that is simple and easy to use, Chrome can be too much from time.

I use a combo of chrome and Firefox. I would use all Firefox but I like having easy access to my email account and Google drive.

I was using Firefox but switched back to Chrome because it was freezing all the time and the multiple processes are for each tab and extensions/add-ons that you have installed on Chrome. It's so that if one tab or extension/add-on crashes, you can still use chrome normally without the rest of it crashing.

If im just checking emails, facebook or just browsing, i use chrome as its pretty much an instant load-up and seems to be fast but if im using something like youtube or an online app like flash, i use firefox!
