PC gaming isnt the same as console gaming, much more hardcore players so if you think you can handle that aspect of fun then go for it.

It all just depends. If you are a hardcore gaming and got the money, go for PC. If you are just a average gamer that just ays to have fun here and their, is go with the Xbox One or PS4. Honestly between the two consoles it's just personal preference.

Get what you think you'll enjoy more - it's that simple and all that matters. If you want to take a simple approach and have a standard device then get a console. If you want customisability and the fun of a DIY project then get a PC.

I switched from console to PC last year, and haven't looked back since. I love the sales on steam and the modding potential of games. However, I respect people who buy consoles. Ignore the whole 'PC master race' term that is slung around, it's cliche. Don't listen to anyone else and buy what you please. Hope you make the right decision and enjoy your new gaming device.

Games on Xbox cost around 40Gbp

On Steam sale you could get around 5-10 great games for the price of one decent xbox/psn game. And there are plenty of great free games.

When a new console comes out lets say the xbox one the price is around 400GBP +
Give it a few years a new console comes out and the current console is around 150 to buy.

When it comes to PC you upgrade around 2 parts of your PC probably come to around 250 after selling your other parts, and your PC will beat the new console in performance. So in the end PC does work out cheaper, and you have a lot more flexibility. PC's can be used for a lot more things then consoles. If you wanted to record you wouldn't really need any equipment except for a mic as you can find free software on PC.

But also your friends can play a big part on what to go with, but you will find in the pc community(Not Gmod community) People are a lot more mature and you will make friends instead of being told to so and so off by a bunch of people.

A gaming pc isn't just a Games console, you can adjust the build to how you want it, for example maybe in the future you might find an interest in video editing then with the current build you wouldn't have to go buy a whole computer as the build you have will have good reliable components already in it.

another point is i Can't play Xbox for long any more as i have my pc and I'd much rather play that then fifa or cod or gta etc..

But take everyone's points into consideration and make your mind up, but PC has my vote.

Don't worry about the compatibility, we have plenty of users on the site who are capable at coming up with a build to full fill your needs in your price range,

just head over to the pc building section and request a build. Just make a topic and fill in the form below. Thats of course if you decide to go along with PC

What is your budget and currency? (Pound sign does not work normally, use GBP abbreviation)
Do you need a monitor?
Do you need a keyboard?
Do you need a mouse?
Do you need an operating system?
What will you use the PC for?

Yes but unfortunately if you want to play at 60fps on your potato then you will have to lower the graphics by a lot as well as the resolution, still at least I don't have to pay ridiculous prices for games.

If you wanna play for the next 5 years without worrying to upgrade then go for the Xbox One, One the other hand if you'r up for upgrading and spending more money on newer parts then go for the PC.
