I use to be a believer. But due to insane family and personal issues, I am slowly becoming an Atheist. My world views and all of that good stuff make me question. I do respect others opinions and I do not judge on what they think, feel or believe.

You clearly don't know anything about it. Atheism is a disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods. There are no followers of Atheism, Its not a religion. Its simple the lack of a belief

Faulty logic there. From what I've said how can you conclude I know nothing about atheism? And please, I certainly know how to use Google to obtain a definition. If you want to use that definition then atheism can be defined as the belief that God doesn't exist. So following atheism would be following the belief that God doesn't exist. Probably poor word choice, but I guess we can hang on that instead of what I proposed.

Also... I've heard the term atheistic followers before.

Edit: From my experience, many of those who claim atheism will indeed say they believe in some sort of creator, but don't necessarily say it is "God." This is why I said many don't understand it..

That would be an Agnostic not an Atheist. If somebody claims to be an Atheists yet believes that then they don't know what an Atheist is and you should tell them the difference between Atheism and Agnosticism

I know; I consider myself agnostic. Though I wouldn't exactly consider what I said to be the definition of agnosticism.

Than you should inform the people that don't know the difference. I've never met anybody that called themselves Atheists but didn't know what that meant
