Whats up guys, just wanted to make a pole to have our own little senate vote lol. Since all that stuff about Obama and the republican party taking over the senate and what not.

Just trying to get a feel of what the TTG community leans towards politically just for curious purposes.

Let me know down in the comments on why you choose to be republican/democratic/independent.

I'm not too big into politics, but I think I would go with Independent. I do agree more with Democrats though.

I just think a majority of the top Republicans want too much religion in politics (which there actually should be zero religion in politics) and want to help their corporate buddies get tax breaks. Republicans also tend to dismiss global warming as well, so there is that.

In saying all of this though, still not the biggest fan of Obama. I don't think he is the worst, but he didn't turn out like someone I would ever vote for. I agreed with a number of his ideas until he got elected and did a 180 on a majority of them.

I think both parties have faults. The two just seem so hostile towards each other and don't get enough done together. I was hearing Fox and similar stations saying the Republicans that got elected shouldn't try to work with Obama at all. Like, how is that helpful at all in our system then? Get out if you can't work with others.

I'm a democrat, and it offends me that people make fun of Obama, our president, when he's trying to do good for the U.S.

I was born democrat, I agree 100% with democrat. Also when people say Michelle Obama is a b**** for making us eat wheat, I don't like eating wheat, and if we want to get obese we should be allowed, but she's trying to help...

I have liberal views. I'm not affiliated with a political party though.

I hate all political parties. It clouds our judgment of the actual person running for senate, congress, etc. "Oh i'm voting for the Democrat because my great grandmother was a Democrat!"

I try to stay out of politics as much as possible because the whole thing is a big joke, but If I have to pick a side I would pick Democrat. Mainly because I don't agree with the majority of the stuff that the republicans preach.

I would personally go with republican, I agree with 90% of what they say, some stuff is shady, but I feel as though people are so ignorant when it comes to Obama they don't see through all the lies and what he is really trying to do!

I try to stay out of anything to do with politics. Just a bunch of nonsense and id rather not get into it. If I had to pick, I would prefer republican over democrat as I agree with the republicans more.
