Introduce Yourself (Section)! (POSTING HERE WILL NOT INCREASE POST COUNT)

I've seen where there be a couple peaple posting same content on 8-9 topic! and i feel that maybe staff should make it where they cant INCREASE POST COUNT in this section. idk just a heads up

I don't think people are trying to boost there posts counts it's called welcoming people to this site.

This would better be suited in the Site Enhancements forum

Anyways, if they took away it counting towards your post then no one would post there. However, if people did their part and reported people are spamming, then staff would ban them and therefore not be a problem anymore.

In my own opinion anyways.

I would consider this part of rant i saw a topic like this there cause there is usually a lot of people posting hello welcome and follow the rules type of stuff but its always nice to get a greeting i dont think they should remove yeah its a easy way to increase post count but i would be a bit angry if i didnt get welcomed

If you see users copying/pasting the same message over and over in the Introduce yourself section (or any forum section for that matter) then please report the posts so staff can deal with it. Your suggestion where post count doesn't count in that section has been suggested several times before and many users don't agree with it (myself included) since other users probably won't post in there as much as before and if someone is spamming in that forum then they will get their spamming posts removed and will be warned/banned if they keep it up.
