so i am getting ready to go my e test(emissions test here in Canada) and i have a code 1362 witch is tdc sensor no signal witch is in the distributor and i am just wondering if i should replace itt or could it be a wiring problem.. i seriously need help because i dont wanna spend money if itts just a easy fix

idk man, it sounds like it could be wiring but also could very well be the distubutor... i know i wasnt much help but maybe just take it to your local auto parts store and let them hook up one of the error code readers and they could tell you, 99% of the time they do that for free

I managed to find some information for you.
The TDC sensor is located inside the distributor and cannot be replaced separately. If it is actually a bad sensor, the distributor housing must be replaced. I would have someone check it before doing that though, because it may be a bad connection or an open wire.

If you replace it you'll have a new sensor with the distributor, you wouldn't keep the old one.
