Ok so I'm on halo 3 right now and I'm practicing bumper jumper so I can become a better halo player like the pros. And its pretty difficult to get used to I always screw up and reload with RB. I want too know is it worth it to learn bumper jumper to increase my skills for master chief collection? Because I've always been very good at halo using my pointer finger to press the buttons instead of taking my the thumb off the analog stick. So is bumper jumper pointless, or will it make me a better player skill wise. On other halo games I'm used to melee being RB and X, but on halo 3 I'm use to B as melee and RB for reload. Should I learn bumper jumper for all halo's?

It's up to you really, I know a few people who use Default Controls and are pretty good players. I learned Bumper Jumper in 2009/2010ish and it'll take a few weeks of playing to get used to everything but eventually you'll have everything down. My nephew plays using Bumper Jumper and he's seven so if he can learn I think you can too, lol. All the Halo games have the same control setup for the most part when it comes to Bumper Jumper so switching from one game to the next shouldn't be that difficult. It could help you become a better player but it's not guaranteed to. I switched to Bumper Jumper because in Halo 3 there was something called Ghost Merging in Forge Mode and I was told that was the only way you could do it and I guess it has helped me be a better player.

Use bumper jumper now if you plan on playing XBCH2 or the Master Chief Collection but if you're just gonna be easing into it just play Recon.

If you do not own a scuf controller or something similar then bumper jumper can be very useful as a means to make your enemy miss. If you do have a scuf you can just you the paddles for the same thing.
