By "ages ago", do you mean that you've been waiting for more than 72 hours (3 days)? If so, it would mean that (a) you don't have notifications enabled to know that your application has been reviewed or (b) your application was cancelled/disabled due to missing or insufficient information. Whatever the case, just go to the clan website and log into your account to see if there's a yellow notification bubble above the small brown application notification button at the bottom.
