Can anyone help me out with a 700$ build my currency is CAD. I was just thinking of buying a pre-built computer because i'm having trouble picking parts that can run games to medium to high settings, if possible maybe ultra. Help is greatly appreciated!

Yeah. GPU will be fine for quite some time. The case isn't great and I'd upgrade that asap. The PSU is good, but not great, so I'd upgrade to a better, fully modular PSU after upgrading the case, or at the same time. Then you could add another SSD or upgrade to a larger capacity SSD. Upgrade the CPU to an i7 when you have the money for it. After this, you can start colour matching components if that bothers you.

What kind of case would you recommend to use for the upgrades?

Completely depends on when you upgrade the case and how much you're willing to spend.

Like what i'm trying to say is can i take some parts that were in the original build and some new parts and put it into a different case?
Components can be re-used as long as everything you're upgrading is compatible. Sometimes it's not worth re-using parts though.

I have to ask, do you plan to edit/livestream on this PC also? If so I would go with something like:

This goes slightly above budget ($740.90, could drop at Christmas or whatever) but if you ever want to edit, livestream or something like that you will need at least an i5 imo. (overclock the i5 to about 4.0GHz with the Hyper 212 and it will destroy any game you throw at it)
