Just landed myself after several interviews up and down the country for the company, a position at one of the biggest companies in the world, Fujitsu.

Starting 4th of November, I'll be a Lead Technical Support Specialist apprentice, with a great wage for an apprentice as well.

The details (for those interested) are below
To have a good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
To have good communication skills
To have a good telephone manner
To be motivated
To be enthusiastic
To be confident
To be willing to learn
To be punctual
To have GCSE English and Maths at grades A*-C or equivalent AND 3 A Levels grades A*-C or equivalent.

This is a 1-2 year Apprenticeship. The weekly salary will be 278.61per week. The working week will be 37 hours per week, working Monday Friday 9am - 5pm.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll have much more to contribute as a learn and study in this role, especially in UNIX and Windows.

Plus, more money at my disposal will mean more gifting of gold,I can't wait!

UK, the current minimum wage rate for an apprentice is 2.68 per hour. However I'm hitting 14kish a year as an apprentice, after about 1 and half years that jumps to around 19k, then after another year your wage rises yearly dependent on your work.

Only know this since my dad has worked for the company for 30 years, my manager is managed by a man called T, who I went for dinner with the other month... My dad is his manager
