So i have seen a few people wearing pink avatars in support of cancer awareness yet this does nothing. How about people donate instead of changing an avatar on a forum, Don't get me wrong I'm not hating i just think it's stupid when so many could donate so little yet it would equal up and would probably help a lot.

So how about once you donate wear the avatar instead of just sticking it on.

Just because we're not donating money doesn't mean we can't raise awareness of the problem. Some with Breast Cancer will be happy that so many people at least care. There is also already a post for that Here

I have not met one person who is not aware of breast cancer.

Raising awareness reminds of people of the common problem and gives them an urge to fight against it.

If you really wish to fight against it then either go donate some money for other people to come close to curing it or you just go cure it yourself. That's pretty much the only way to fight it.

You can also volunteer to help those that really need it aswell.

I think the awareness that is already around is enough, If people haven't donated already it's lightly they won't.

I just don't understand what you're against. You fight against breast cancer yet, you dislike when people raise awareness by putting a pink breast cancer ribbon as their profile picture.

I'm not against anything i just think instead of putting a color on the forum why not donate as donating will actually do something.

The question is, if he had not mentioned all this and got you agitated would you have just stuck to a little image on a forum or would you genuinely have donated?

I'll admit I haven't donated, and I know that just having this signature isn't 'helping'. But it just shows awareness, and shows we are supporting.

I know someone who has cancer, and I'd do anything to help him. But I can't, and thats the sad thing.

It's great donating, but sadly, the majority of money donated, won't go towards beating cancer...

Of course I would have. I donate every year as to I have lost someone due to breast cancer. I was just waiting to get more money to donate more at once.
