Virtual reality will become more of a common thing, not as big because of price tags, but will surely enough become popular.

So when you say "Will become popular." do you estimate let's say in 5-10 years from now?

Personally, I am not looking forward to it at all.

I absolutely love my keyboard, mouse, and controller.

I believe it has already been created. A game where your the character and your movements happen in the game. I don't think it will be released to public for awhile and if so it would be a crap ton of money!

Yea it's been created but not released to the public yet til hey dumb the headset down so it'll be cheap enough for the consumer to buy it. There's a V.R headset you can connect to your smart phone it runs on android not a consumer product yet though.

Asymmetrical wrote We already have VR.

I personally tried VR years ago when I was a kid in Sega World (London)

As primitive as it was, it was definitely an experience.

To have it common place in our lives would ruin everything.
People would simply hide from their lives inside a box.

It always brings me back to Lawnmower Man.
Be happy with your life as it is. Dont look for tech to improve/hide it.

Personally I don't see why so many people are hating on your opinion because I totally agree with this.
I would not want a "virtual reality" to run my life, since I prefer to live the real thing. Technology has just ran so many people's lives in this generation, there is really no way of stopping the hate against your opinion since they may or may not understand.

I do realize I may or may not get hate against what I just said. But I am just stating the truth.

Too much of anything is bad for you and as long as you don't get hooked and you also have to maintain your life outside of the Virtual world I see no harm in virtual reality being created.
