I know this sound like a douche move, but i have 2 console banned xbox's.

Whats the chances are being able to take one to gamestop and be able to sell/trade in for anything?

And taking the other to another store?

Basically, is there a way for them to check if the console is console banned or not?

If not, would i be able to sell it on Amazon/Ebay with in the description that its console banned?

I think they would test it first before they buy it. Even if they did buy it, it is kind of a dick move.

If i bought a console that turned out to be banned, i would flip out!

List it on Ebay as banned and sell it there.

When you take it to gamestop, all they do is check to see if it turns on and if it plays the games or not. They don't connect it to the internet to check if it is console banned. But remember selling things to gamestop isn't the best idea since they will give you less money which is basically ripping you off.

Now if you sell it on ebay or amazon you will also get less for it since it is console banned, but the console could easily be RGHed depending on what type of console it is and be able to play unsigned code.

I have a slim, and a elite xbox.
If one of them is able to be RGHed i'd rather learn that. There's money to be made at least in that.

But thanks for your answer!

Quick little tip, don't RGH your console with the intent of making money from using it.
You'll end up dumping a lot into it and you will more than likely break even at best.

They're fun, but they aren't wise investments in most cases.

Right on, thanks for the heads up. Might just keep the mods offline. GTA5 will be fun to play then lol.

You probably wouldn't be able to sell it. They would most likely test it
