So im upgrading to an iPhone 6 tomorrow. I currently have an iPhone 4s Jailbroken. i was wanting to restore my phone to get rid of the jailbreak but i dont want to update it to ios8. so can/will verizon still transfer all my content and contacts and all that to my new phone even if they can tell its jailbroken?

Well if you restore you phone, you'll get rid of the jailbreak for one, so they would never know. Two, if you restore your phone, you won't have any contacts or anything to transfer?

well i want to stay on ios7 but it wants me to update. so i just want to know if verizon will still transfer my stuff if i dont restore even though its jailbroken

There is ways to restore without having to update.
Also use i cloud to have your contacts and such.
Most of your games are digitally stored so your progress will be gave via game center.
Also make sure you do a clean restore so no jailbroken files are on the device even though they do a clean wipe as well.
The 6 is great btw. I got the 64 Gb Gold. The extra storage is well needed.

The answer that you are looking for, is yes. Jailbreaking is not illegal anymore and hasn't been for some time now. You are perfectly fine to walk right into the store with a jailbroken device and they will do NOTHING.
