Someone please answer I need to know I'm level 27 I have all legendary gear no raid gear I don't want to waste my time upgrading it if I can't get to level 30 with it

You need atleast 1 exotic and the rest purple to obtain level 30

I'm level 29, I have raid boots and an exotic chest. I have everything maxed out but my gauntlets. My helmet and gauntlets aren't raid, my helmet is a legendary from an engram and my gauntlets are Dead Orbit, I'm barely past 29 and I have two more upgrades for my gauntlets which won't get me 30, so I believe so, yes, at least and exotic and two raid pieces, I'm not sure if you need 3 raids and an exotic or just 2.

You need at least 2 raid gear, I'm not sure if it's 2 or 3 raid gear and an exotic.

Light required for level 30 is "120" 3 pieces of raid gear are required for level 30.

4 Pieces of Raid Gear fully upgraded to max to get to 30, or 3 pieces with fully upgraded exotic.
You hit 29 at 109 Light
I have a fully upgraded Exotic head with Raid boot's maxed at +30 with my other 2 legendaries maxed at +27 and I'm only a qt or half way through 29.

So you're telling me that I NEED full raid gear, normal fully upgraded legendaries wont be enough?
