Hi guys! This is a survey I developed in order to try and accumulate information for a computer aided product design course I'm taking right now. This information will help me accurately design a keyboard and mouse that most accurately represents popular demand so I'm hoping I can get as many replies as possible! I'll post the final product on this forum once done. Feel free to comment anything else you think should be included in the survey. Thanks!

I'd like to call myself a keyboard enthusiast, but it's whatever.

Optimal key mechanicsm- buckling springs (as seen on IBM model M)
Optimal layout- Ergodox layout
Optimal keycaps- thick dyesub pbt plastic
This is assuming you use it purely for efficient typing

No reason to reinvent the wheel with a new layout; QWERTY is a standard for a reason.

Mouse:
Shaped similarly to the microsoft intellimouse explorer 3.0
Optical Sensor
Add side buttons and tiltable scroll wheel, along with three more buttons on top, akin to the logitech g400s
