I was one of those idiots.
Because killing them all will not stop it. You have to stop the ideology to end this.

You should watch that video Casca linked and than maybe you'll learn something.
If you haven't noticed it's a religious war. Anyone not involved shouldn't be there.
Just look at Iraq, we went and killed Saddam and now look at it - ISIS controls most of it. Their was no Al-Qaeda or ISIS when he was in power and now the whole country has gone to hell since we've been there. We just left Afghanistan and I guarantee you in a few month/years, it'll just be like how Iraq is today.
I wish people would learn from the past and realize constantly bombing a countries does no good and only makes us hated even more.

Canada Carries Out First Strikes Against ISIS
The Canadian Air Force has completed its first strike against Islamic State militants in Iraq. Poor weather had previously hampered combat missions as currently Canadian fighter jets arent armed with all-weather laser-guided bombs.
"Coordinated with our coalition partners, two CF-18s (Hornet fighter jets) attacked ISIL targets with GBU-12 laser-guided bombs in the vicinity of Fallujah, Iraq", said a statement issued by Canadian Defense Minister Rob Nicholson.
"The approximately four-hour mission included air-to-air refueling from Canadas Polaris aircraft. All aircraft returned safely to their base", the statement said.

Saddam Hussien active years in office -
1979 - 2003
Al-Qaeda founded -
1988
Al-Qaeda was active for 14 years before Saddam was out of office, and active for 17 years total before his execution.
That is nearly two decades that you say wasn't there while he was in power.

I guess it's a good thing that geopolitics isn't high school and not a popularity contest.

13 Year Old Joins Islamic State
A 13-year-old boy has told the BBC of his plans to join Islamic State, after watching jihadist videos and chatting to IS fighters online.
The teenager, who wants to be known as "Abu Hattab" was born in Syria and was first radicalised last year when he joined the extremist group Sham al-Islam.
He had Sharia lessons and learned how to use weapons. Within weeks, he says, he will go to the IS stronghold of Raqqa in Syria to become a young jihadi soldier.
Abu told the BBC's Mark Lowen: "Soon the West will be finished."

"No. Go to your room and think about what you did." His parents said in a statement.

Iraqi State TV Confirms ISIS Leader, al-Baghdadi Wounded in Airsrike
Reports of the leader of the Islamic State group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi being wounded in an airstrike, were confirmed by Iraqi officials and state television on Sunday. At the same time, the Pentagon said it had no such information.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, two Iraqi officials told AP that al-Baghdadi was wounded in an airstrike in the town of Qaim in Iraq's Anbar province, carried out on Saturday.
An Interior Ministry intelligence official confirmed that the IS leader was wounded citing informants within the militant group, while a senior Iraqi military official said he learned about it in operational meetings.
Neither knew the extent of al-Baghdadi's apparent injuries, according to AP news agency.
