I recommend an iPhone 5s. It's fast, isn't cluttered and is really simple to handle, unlike a Samsung S4/S5. People are detailing that if you were to drop an iPhone, the damage in comparison to a Samsung product would be way more severe. My response to this is - don't be a dumb-ass. Only a dumb-ass would think "what if I were to drop it?". If you're clumsy, go for an early 2000 Nokia, if you're mature and you aren't accident prone, go for a smart phone, but I recommend the iPhone 5s.

I concur with this guy, I have an iPhone myself but I do have a few friends with Samsung Galaxies and they are really nice phones.

I have had android phones for as long as they were available (HTC incredible, galaxy nexus, galaxy s4) but I switched to iphone almost 6 months ago and I can say it has been a great switch to a new platform (keep noted I am on a jailbroken 5s) and I will be sticking with iPhone, I may even get the iphone 6 plus when it launches this week. So I would seriously recommend getting an iPhone 5s or waiting to get the iphone 6.

Have you ever had a newer iPhone? I've dropped my 5s tons and it has 1 scratch on the side that is so small you would to be needing to look for scratches

I'd say go with the HTC One M8 or the Galaxy Note 3/4.

Both very awesome phones, very comfortable, outstanding cameras, smooth interface, and a bunch of other stuff I'm too lazy to type.

I'd highly recommend either of those phones.

People say if you drop the iphone it will break when no.. get a case for a start. Lifeproof case or whatever. It's virtually unbreakable then.

I always go with iPhones, they are fast, the current IOS is great i think. Easy phone to use! and you can always jailbreak it and customize it how you like.

Anyway, I'm just posting with my experience, last time i had an HTC the antenna went in the first two weeks so had to get a new one.

I would go with none of the above! Why not get the Oppo Find 7? It's better then any of the phones listed. It's an Android phone with Color OS as well. You've got soo much more freedom with the phone as well since you can change the skins and how it looks. FUN FACT: It's got a 4K camera and a 13 MP picture mode, it also has an UHD (Ultra High Definition) mode where it takes the picture at a 50MP resolution.

I've got one myself, and it's the best phone I've ever owned. Plus it's cheaper then any of the other phones. It's an amazing phone, but it, buy it now.
