I hope she survives... there's nothing really more badass than being able to say, 'I got shot in the head once.'
and yeah, I know this is a horrible tragedy which is going to haunt her for the rest of her life, but I'm sure the next 10 people to post will say that in different ways.

I'm pretty sure that I'm not alone in saying that I would.
Not all the time, but when people bring up the "What's been your worst injury?" conversation.
