That would mean deliveries are completely out of Amazon's hands and that even if deliveries were on time, it would be because of the courier and not Amazon. It's not that they'd lie about delivery time. When you order from Amazon, they give you an expected delivery date which means it could be late. I've had packages arrive late from Amazon on numerous occasions. You said that Amazon were good for delivering packages on time and then claimed that it's not Amazon who deliver it anyway so you're contradicting yourself. Also, T-33 mentioned that his delivery was two days later than Amazon expected, simply because you said Amazon always made deliveries on time.

Thanks for summming that up for him as i simply couldnt be bothered in having an arguement

It is pretty much out of Amazons hands once order and courier are booked.
But yes it is down to Amazon to select a reliable courier.

simply because you said Amazon always made deliveries on time

Where did I say this?

I said Amazon are good at what they do, which they are.
T-33 said they are not, simply due to the fact his was delivered 2 days late.
Which, if you were to check, would have been down to the courier.

AR15 was the one that said they have "pretty spot on delivery times"

Generally speaking, Amazon has some pretty spot on delivery times, so unless something bad happens, you should get it right when they said that you would.

I've ordered Black ops 2 and Ghosts from Amazon and they both arrived a day or 2 late but as long as its what i've paid for I wasnt too bothered with waiting a few more days.
although each time a big game like call of duty is released the call of duty forums are spammed with people asking if anyone who ordered from Game, amazon, tesco, sainsbury etc has received their game it just depends on it you are lucky or not, BUT if you pay for first class postage etc it will defiantly arrive on the date they told you.
