Didn't have to ask for specifics. Just change it was all we cared about. Since we are working on that type of technology in today's times, it is to be expected in a futuristic game. How do you expect there to be so much change in a WW2 era or even a modern era game? We have been through nearly all of it. Don't change the game, people complain. Change the game too much, people complain. That is the downfall of Call of Duty. Nothing else. The fanbase is splitting.

Cod died 3 odd years ago when they put MW3 out.

COD 4, WAW, MW2 and Black Ops 1 are the best COD games.

COD4- So simple, easy to pick up and play. Such a fun game and everything was pretty balanced.

WAW- Yet again, so simple. The time that it was set in did the game huge favours.
Also zombies, zombies was so fun and great and you didnt have to put like a million things together to turn the power on or get pack-a-punch unlike in BO2, where they went to complex with zombies.

MW2- Tied first with the best cod game. Cod became so popular when this game came out. Even when there were prestige lobbies and all that, it was still fun.

BO1- Enjoyed it, the time it was set in did huge favours yet again. stayed away from the modern setting so it didnt feel like the same game over and over.
But zombies started getting to complex through DLC maps like that moon one and the jungle one.

Then after that it went to crap, they just added too many things in since they felt like they didnt want the players to get bored.

Yes having all these kill streaks and what not will keep 10 year old entertained, but the simplicity of the game is what kept players like myself who were really into cod and enjoyed it.

MW3 was terrible, BO2 was okay but it was in the future. Then they thought lets continue going into the future for ghost and look at how that turned out.

Now AW is also in the future. We cant really judge the game since none of use has played it.
But it could be good but has a high chance to be bad since of the damage thats already been done from previous cod titles.

They had a good formula going and they bit off more than they could chew.

IW should of stayed with the present and 3arc should of kept it in the past.
Should be easy to see that games set in the future dont particularly sell that well or are played for a long period of time.
(titanfall, crysis) even though the graphics are good, just the concept is what kills them.

(Have been some good future games like Halo, but thats because they kept it basic and didnt overwhelm the player with 100 things to interact with)

Now activision decided they will but cod on a 3 company cycle so the game has 2 years instead of 1 to be made.
Sorry, but this is something that was repeatedly asked for years ago and people said that the franchise would be sucked dry.

It's safe to say, Treyarch, we need you desperately. Save the call of duty series!!

I think this game is going to be good and everyone is going to be playing it. The only thing I have ever heard about being complained was exo suit, jet pack, and cloaking. That's it. That is THREE points in the game THREE. So lets see that's probably THREE out of the Hundreds of Things there are in this game. No game is perfect by any means. If all you have are those three things to back up your opinion then that is not very supporting. Plus, one of the complaints is already taken care of, They added a playlist without Exo suits. And as for the cloaking, its lasts FIVE seconds. Im so so sorry that FIVE seconds of your gameplay is used on someone cloaking themselves. Not everyone will be using it either. And the chances you will be attacked by someone cloaking are pretty slim. They need to be in the right place at the right time for the short window they can use it in. And as for the jetpacks, haven't we all complained about dying either too fast or that if you get shot from the back you have no escape and the game is slow and stupid?" well now you can use a jet pack and quit your whining to get out of trouble and stand a fair chance against an enemy. That's just my two cents though.


Could this game suck Yes.
Could this game thrive and be good and wonderful for the cod community? Yes

Don't hold someone else's mistake (Infinity ward's ghost) against another(Sledgehammer).

The kill time is equivalent to ghosts which was the main downfall for ghosts. More people are on my side abput this game. The preorders are down and also... No offense. But your outnumbered lol!

Everyone keeps complaining saying it's like "TitanFall" ... After SH left IW people from SH went and formed Respawn.

Why did SH leave IW? Because IW wouldn't let them put EXO SUITS into THEIR GAME.


So everyone needs to stop crying saying they copied titan fall.... They basically made titan fall.

I have been a COD Lover ever since Call of Duty 2. Bought every single game from that one on-wards. I was however very disappointed in Cod Ghosts as it was frankly a terrible game.

For the first time in 9 years I am actually "considering" buying a next installment of the franchise.

i dont reckon its dead it looks preety intresting to me. although i would love a old cod remake but then everyone will complain because they will say all the cods are the same but if they make something new they hate it and want the old cods back..
