If you've used a launch.ini in the past it means you were also using dashlaunch. Like I said before, you can't use one without the other.

When you update to a new dash, do you use xebuild GUI?

I bet this is something so simple, i havnt been using my JTAG for a couple of months and when i started again a week ago everyone said nothing has changed, where the plugins could be set in either the launch.ini (In the root of the HDD) or Dashlaunch (Your Preference), so has this changed? Because im planning to buy Stealth (XBLHammer) and a new KV Tomorrow and get hosting so i kinda need to know if i can still just do it using the Launch.ini with the plugins within the file or if i dont do that now and i have to mess about using Dashlaunch now:/

Yeah man, i use XeBuild GUI:) Always have

The problem you are having with understanding is you are thinking of Dashlaunch as the app people use on their xbox to go through the settings. This is just the "GUI" input app for editing what's on your launch.ini.

Dashlaunch its self is built into your nand when you build the image with xebuild. Notice on the xebuild app how it says "use custom dashlaunch settings"? I bet that's been checked every time you've built a new nand. You have been using dashlaunch all along.
