I just received my new xbox 360 (original w/ hdmi) and I am trying to use my old power cord from my original without hdmi. All other forums a suggestions say this would work but my new xbox isn't powering up for some reason.

That model power brick isnt powerful enough to power your system. So no to answer your question.

If im wrong please dont try to start an argument with me(anyone else who replies).
