Hi guys so if you can understand what im trying to say then you can help me a lot, so basicly i find a picture and say that i wanted the outside shape of the picture and leave the inside empty can this be done.

another example take a gun with camo how can i just get the shape of the gun and not the coloured in part but keeping the detail if this is possible or if you can understand what im trying to say please help [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] so basicly how could i make this image?

You can use the pen tool to trace the shape of your object. This is probably your best option seeing you only want the shape of the object. After you've traced the outline of your shape, you can fill it with whatever colors, backgrounds, etc. that you'd like.


I recommend searching on YouTube something like, "how to use pentool in Photoshop".

This information is spot on. If you are just wanting the outline/stroke of the whatever it is that you want, the pen tool will be your best friend.
