Pretty sure there has never been a beta for fifa and never will be. Where did you here this from?

There has been.. FIFA 13 Beta was PS3 exclusive. Search it up. I was in the FIFA 14 beta last year, got another invite this year, some people are getting invites for separate game modes, mine was UT.

Last year, it last a good two weeks I am sure. It went right up until the "Early Release" version came out.
