I've been told I need to re-store my iPhone as I updated over the "air" but what do I do when it comes to the welcome screen? Do I continue as new iPhone, jailbreak it them plug it into my macbook and then restore from back up once it's jailbreaked?

You cant restore after the Jailbreak as it will be un jailbroken, load into the back up then jailbreak :neo:
