In an ideal world, i'd have a handgun of some sort (silenced) and a shotgun.. But as i live in the UK and they only sell 'airguns' which are quite useless, i'd have to have some sort of knife/sword/axe/ as well as some blunt objects like a lead pipe.

Yui- wrote More than likely something like Crowbar since it's easy to swing about and wouldn't break as easily and doesn't run out of ammo unlike guns and swords.

For back up I would have a repeating crossbow since the ammo most of the time will be re-usable and it's also easy and faster to fire unlike normal crossbows.

Just in case I would have a Glock 17 and maybe some night vision goggles.

how does a sword run out of ammo exactly??

It breaks, as I said that the crowbar wouldn't break or run out of ammo.

Something light such as a katana or machete and a pistol as backup, dont want too much weight incase you need to run or climb

Probably a firemans axe. In DayZ it seems to get the job done.

Somthing like a Katana,
With a Pistol side arm and along with some form of Silenced Rifle (Not high caliber it would need to be fairly quiet) Maybe a Lapua for taking out them bandits.
