I really want a desktop because all the laptops I get just seem to end up being really slow, I'm a graphics designer for youtube so I do render and render time means qutie alot to me but I don't mind waiting an hour or so at the most on a render that's like about 10 mins long+ But I understand that there are different x51's with different operating systems and tbh i'm not really ready to spend a 1000$ or more on a desktop i'll speend like 700 to 800 at the most but would an i3 operating system be good enough to run Programs such as, Skype, Cinema 4D, Adobe photoshop, and others at the same time and not have lag, I'm not expecting perfect no lag but very little is what im looking for
Basically what I want to know would an i3 operating systerm be good enough to run all those programs fine?

This is the pc BUILDING fourm and that system is prebuilt so unless you want to get parts for a build you'll put together your're asking in the wrong place.

But just so you know all alienware products are overpriced.

Alienwares are made out to look good but building your own PC is the better option.

An Intel core i3 is not an operating system, it's a processor. Windows is an operating system. An i3 doesn't belong in an editing/rendering PC anyway. For that kind of stuff, you should be looking for an i7.

As already stated above, don't buy Alienware. They use cheap parts and low end components and then charge a large amount just for the badge and a few LEDs.

Just so you're aware, here is something you could get for $15 over your $800 budget;

That would beat any Alienware, seriously, it's better than the $1500 Alienware desktop. So, no, Alienware are not worth it.

I'm clueless about computers and building them is probably not even an option for me< I know I could watch a tutorial on building my own but I'll have a think about building my own thanks though Cos i've neber heard anything about alienware really They just looked like they'd be a nice computer and from rading cluelessly about the specs on it I just assumed it was okay xD but thanks for the help! Maybe see you guys in this forum if I decide to build my own

Tell me your budget and I can point you in the right direction.
Do not get a Prebuilt PC, that is like the number 1 rule. They are overpriced and very underpowered. If you do not feel like you want to build a PC, I don't mind putting up a listing on ebay and building it and sending it to you. It's what I have done with alot of friends that wanted PC's instead of next gen consoles. If not, then please PM me and I will help you with everything.
