Hey all,
My name is oPryzeLP and I specialize in Minecraft Xbox 360 mods. I am starting something new and would like someone experienced to help me. I know of all the OG Old School modders back from MW2 days, however I have no clue who the "big modders" of today are. Please help me out and tell me who the big names of today are if you know of any, or if you are a professional modder yourself.

Just to give you a background of my experience, here is my YouTube channel:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I am specifically interested in xex mods. Decompiling them and such.
Here is a small example of what I am looking for.

In Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition, there is a tutorial world that gives you some tips and stuff. During the tutorial, there are prompts like this:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

On my retail console I have figured out how to display prompts with custom messages:
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Let's say I wanted to know the hex values to display that 'A' button from the tutorial prompt into my custom message. I would have to search for that message from the tutorial in the default.xex.

However, I am not experienced with xex decompiling, so I am calling upon the community to help me out.

TLDR: Post the "famous" modders of today.

He's a good popular host, you could talk to him.

Xex mods are dated now, honestly it's all about RPC/JRPC tools (Programs running on your computer modifying the game)

EDIT: I can help you out with setting up tools, given you have an exploited console. I'm also good with .ISO modifications, and general USB/Retail SVG mods. If you'd like help with that just PM me.

Yeah I know xex mods are old school, but it is still helpful at times. And isn't RPC modding still xex modding? Or am I confused? I do have a JTAG, but it red rings occasionally and even with a modded fan, it is a pain to use.
Thanks for replying

I am not "looking" for mods really. I am mainly wanting to learn the techniques people use to mod xex files and incorporate that into a retail mod. I am making some new retail mods for Minecraft Xbox 360 and I need a list of certain values or functions in the xex file. And since I know that the RGH/JTAG community deals with xex mods, I figured getting help there would be a good decision.

Are you skilled/experienced enough to do some "advanced" xex decompiling? Again, I'm just looking for names of certain functions or values so it doesnt need to be recompiled and played on a modded console.

RPC/JRPC modding is completely wireless and done on a computer, no Xex modification needed.

I do not, however, know how to decompile xex files or get functions ect. I know a little bit of C# but that's it.

I don't believe you're going to be able to get far with modding things on a retail, in order to do 99% of the thing you hope to do I'm pretty sure you're going to need a modified console. However, I'm not an expert so it could be possible.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the luck wishes!

I do have experience with retail mods. What I am making has already worked, I am simply looking to gain info about the xex itself to aid in my retail mod. I will post a small example in my OP

Most of the good hosters have moved on from the modding scene as we all do at one point also you should buy your own Jtag or Rgh and start hosting as that way you don't need to look for any yourself and you can host them.

I believe you have misunderstood my objective. I have a JTAG but hardly touch it. I am not looking for someone to mod something FOR me. Instead I need someone with xex modding experience to help me create a new retail mod. I've updated my OP with an example.

Nice! Are you experienced with decompiling a default.xex?
