So it might not be mainstream news but there are still genocides going on right now and not one country or the Un has helped why? How is it ok getting in Russia's business but not stopping the genocide and diseases that are rampant in Africa. You think a country would help, but I guess there not worth it, but trying to start a war with Russia is for no reason. Let them have the damn land, who cares.

If you're just now knowing about genocide in Africa, im sorry friend but you need to pick up a history book.

Is it bad, yes. But unfortunately that's the type of world we live in. Everyone cant help everyone. Thats not how this world works.

The last time the U.S (and the UN) got involved with a genocide, two Blackhawks were shot down, 20 were killed, 80 were wounded, and 1 was taken captive (aka Black Hawk Down). After that I don't think it is within their interests. It is a shame those genocides happen though.

We're not helping because it's not profitable. Not because human lives are at stake, otherwise we'd be out of the middle east by now. (Oil)

Someone that knows what they're taking about. Countries only do things that are profitable and helping save lives just isn't. Some of the EU countries that were using Africa and just destroying should have to help. They put new borders along countries, made new countries, put groups that hate eachother right next to each other. Whats going to happen when that happens?

We don't want to get involved in anyone elses wars, All this in Iraq and Afghanistan is because they both pose a risk to us where as African countries don't really, apart from maybe some Somalian terrorists. It's like Australia and New Zealand having a conflict and then the US and UK decide to get involved.

And how do they pose a risk exactly?

On topic though, part of the genocide is being caused by the US as well with Obama constantly dropping bombs in almost every country there with drones. I don't really think that would be considered helping.

It is THEIR problem to deal with. It isn't the rest of the world's problems to help them.

I know that sounds bad to say, but, it really isn't our problem and they are plenty capable of solving these sorts of problems on their own. America and other country needs to focus on their own problems and keep their noses out of other's problems.

Fighting over land or religion is in human nature, as long as humans exist wars and genocide will exist too.

However we ARE helping, charities go over and try to provide aid and clean water.

There would be no point aiding any part of africa in a military way because we have done it in the past and it never worked.
