Choice 1 : ideapad y510 [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Choice 2: MSI GE70 Apache Pro
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The thing about the ideapad laptop is that it overheats and has exesive noise do to GTX 755M SLI.
I think they came out with a new version with a GTX 860m and fixed those issues but i forgot the model name.
Now the apache ge70 i think is very nice because it is slim (in comparison to most gaming laptops)however many people say the trackpad is crap. But that shouldnt matter because almost no gamer user a damn trackpad. Also battery life is complete :poop:

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Never a gaming laptop. If you want a dedicated Gaming PC go for a Custom Desktop, not some overpriced peace of plastic.

I recommend you not buy anything that is pre-made for you. I would request that you build the PC yourself and buy the parts. Very simple and easy, consider it adult legos. Plus you save $$$$$$.

PC Part Picker is an excellent source for planning your build with some amazing prices as-well.

No need to dislike my post though. I simply gave him options for what he wanted. I would buy a gaming laptop because I like portability and im not always at home.
Its true building a custom PC is the better way to go but again some people want a laptop. Is that hard for anyone to understand?

I did not "Dislike" your post. I rated your post as not being useful. Sure, you can overpay for a crap laptop you can bring around. Or you can build a dedicated Gaming PC with grade A specs for the same price as that "Gaming Laptop". Laptops in my opinion should not be used for dedicated gaming. It will break the bank most of the time and you do not always have the chance of fixing whatever goes wrong. Now if he stated that he was an "On the go person" and didnt have a chance of sitting down to game in a static state, sure, a laptop would be an option, but he did not state that and only asked this general question: "whats a good gaming computer i should buy max ill pay 1G thanksssss".
