Alright guys.. I have never touched a PS3 in my life.. This is for a friend.


He keeps trying to boot it up but its doing some red light blinking thing... here is the video


Any help I get... I'll +rep you.

Like I said this is not my ps3.. it's for a friend of mine that asked me for some help..

Well its not good for your friend. The blinking red light is a sign of a overheated console.What i would tell him is the open up the ps3 and get all the dust out, clean all the vents and fans, maybe even re-thermal paste it.
