I know that the squad has little to do with it but I was wondering what the best and worst times to hold the a button are? I am a noob I know, my only issue is that I get raped on D which loses me games.

I tend to hold B if I'm running against someone, and then 1 on 1 I'll hold A and try to close the attacker down

The only time I really hold A is off kickoff. I use RB/R1 (I think thats the right button!) To have a CPU defender cover. That way I can run in and make tackles with B

The defesne inst bad.

if you want to change it, get Pitszceck and TOTS Sokratis(god)


When defending focus on getting in his way and passing paths using LT to jockey and LT+RT to jockey and sprint. I use to just hold A but it does not work. Get in his way. Don't let his get past you.

At the end of the day, think of it like this.. The more defenders infront of him the harder it will be to find space to score.
