Hi Zest, you need to add mods to the game not saves via the DATA folder, not the SAVE folder, the path to my DATA folder, and your's should be very similar is:-
1,click the start button
2,then documents,
3,then Windows 7 (C)
4,then scroll down to Program Files(x86)folder and double click it
5,then scroll down to the STEAM folder and double click it
6,then scroll down to STEAM APPS folder and double click it
7,then scroll to the COMMON folder and double click it
8,then double click the FALLOUT NEW VEGAS folder
the top folder you see next should be your DATA folder, inside there are other folders such as Meshes,Sound,Textures etc,and that is where you place all the INFO connected to the mod your adding.
So to re-cap this is the install path to your FNV data Folder:-
Start \ Documents \ Windows7(C) \ Program Files(x86) \ Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Fallout New Vegas \ Data
Now to get the info from the mod folder to the Data folder can either be done by you manually doing it,drag and drop type method,or you could download a mod manager such as:-
1, FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager)
2, NMM (Nexus Mod Manager)
3, BOSS
I have use 1 and 2 but not 3,so I cant vouch for it.
These will add all the info for you and delete it if necessary at the click of a button.
