I am looking to invest in either a JTAG or RGH, however, I am having some difficulty narrowing it all down. I would like to be able to go offline & online (if it is possible). In addition to that, I am looking for something that will not have too much of a problem with RROD and will not be easily banned. Correct me if I am wrong, but I have come to the conclusion that either a Falcon or Jasper would suffice, for a Phat 360 at least. To sum it up, I would greatly appreciate any expert input into choosing between JTAG or RGH as well as advice as to what Motherboard would suit my needs best. Thank you in advance for any help.
Edit: I should add that I plan on buying an already modded console instead of modding a console myself.

I think a Jasper RGH would be a good one for you. I have a Jasper RGH 1.0 and it boots up instantly and also had no issues with RROD at all the 3 years i have had it i even have it on all day (sometimes over night) and have no issues what so ever. My opinion though. Go with the one you think is best for you!

If you want a slim console, go with the Trinity.
But if you're getting a phat console, get a Jasper.

It doesn't really matter too much if you get a RGH or JTAG. The only difference is boot times. JTAGs will always be instant since there is no glitching to the system being done. Basically as long as you don't get a xenon and/ or play on it constantly, you should be fine. As for RGH, boot times depend on the motherboard you have and how well the soldering was done. I personally wouldn't get RGH2 (slower boot times). Stick with RGH1 if you can. The best phat RGH is a Jasper. I own one and boot is almost instant. Slims are great too

Thank you for the reply. If I may ask, did you purchase your modded console? If so, where from?

I've actually RGH'd it when the Rev C came out.

Ah, I see. Mind if I get your opinion on JTAG or RGH?

I purchased it, but I recommend that if you have never soldered before and have no clue what you're doing, don't mod it yourself.

I do plan on purchasing it as I have no prior experience modding hardware. Mind if I ask where you purchased yours?
