Personally, I support Israel, and I have to disagree with you. The United States only Sells decommissioned military weaponry to the israel(All the good high tech materials go to rebels trying to overthrough goverments.). Israel also has technology that no country has so as the D.O.M.E Missle system (Can stop 7/10 Missles), and I dont believe israel are terrosit, In the 70s Arab Countries and many other middle eastern countries (8+) attacked israel, Which ended up ending in 6 days. But israel has a policy to stand behind any countries that believe in god, Not a god but The God. I give them respect for that, they are more devoted than most other countries out there. But Whats going on now could of been prevented. All Hamas is doing is endangering his own people by retaliating and not trying to compromise. His first mistake is trying to attack israel and soon theyll get annoyed and invade, Then U.S will get involved, and when that happens russia will back Hamas, and WW3 will begin. Thats why we need to stay out, Its not our war, and no matter what Hamas will see US involvment as a threat and ask the many countries that hate us to back him.

Its not Palestine... Palestine was a piece of land under British mandate. and was split between the Israel Palestinians and the Arab Palestinians. Later a civil war broke out when the UN was to give Israel Palestinians 25% of the land because the arab Palestinians became greedy and wanted it all. Well the arab Palestinians lost and the land was later declared the State of Israel. In 1988 the arab part of israel was given back its title and is now known as the State of Palestine. The group running it is considered as terrorist state by the UN and most countries. Please do research on a topic before discussing it with me atleast

Do not want to start anything since I am not into politics but from my understanding reading the book "Night" Jews started coming in during the holocaust to escape.... so It was always called Palestine but Jews started rolling in, the 1940's.

Yes Jewish also came along during the 20s. They were actually apart of the Israel Palestine. In 1927 (I believe) The British divide palestine between the 2 groups and both game them land from it. Like i said Earlier in the 40s the UN wanted to split it again but this time give 25% to Israel Palestines. The Arabs weren't happy and there was a civil war. Israel ended up winning and like the winner and all wars claimed the land (Still not an actual country). It was then declared the State of Israel and in 1988 the State of Palestine became a country. But Is controlled by a "Terrorist" Orginization as stated by the UN and Other western and some non western countries. I also read "Night" Elie Wiesel, Read it about 2 years ago. Really Good book. But I also try not to discuss politics, But my views and opinions on this topic were created on by the history behind it, not what the "Media" chooses to show. The Media shows what it wants, and only what it wants.

Well I shall continue to support the State of Israel, Because I hate seeing a government (Hamas) Using Women and Children as Canon Fodder when fighting a conflict.

Is it just me or does only the US support Israel? Because their are protest around the world happening right now in Italy, Australia, New Zealand, France, and a few other nations because of this whole situation and they all support Palestine.

To all those that support hamas and the palestinians i would like you to know a few facts:

1.The country of Israel supports gaza with water, power, and food. If it was not for the Israeli government, All the people in Gaza would be dead.

2.Israel has asked multiple times for a seize fire and to create a peace treaty, but Hamas still refuses to cooperate.

3.Hamas has killed hundreds of israeli's in the past year, yet Israel has just started to send rockets over to Gaza and all of Israel is being labled as cruel and inhumane?

4.This was has all come down to religion. I hope everyone out there realizes the real reason of this was is that Gaza wants israel to return to a muslim based country. Hamas does not accept Israel as a jewish country therefore their objective is to kill all the jews and take over to turn Israel into a muslim based country.

I hope we can all take alittle from this and understand what this war has really come to.

Thank you for posting actual facts. I don't get why people are blaming Israel.

Hamas also is trying to reclaim territory that the believe is originaly theirs even though the arab Palestinians lost in the 40s because of greed and starting a fight they couldn't win.

This is gonna sound rough, see it how you want. America needs to stay out of countries business. Even if they're allies. I think if there were no US citizens hurt/killed then we need to leave it up to that country's government to solve the problem.

America is becoming a type of country that lends it's hands to just about anybody now. Look at the other week when we sold the helicopters, tanks, missiles etc. to that one country. (forgot the name of the country). We need to keep that stuff stateside.

I understand and I thank you for teaching me but why support killers? You can't just split a country in half I have lots of Jewish friends and they said they don't support Israel because in their religion it's prohibited to have it's own state and army. People who support them don't know anything and prove they support killers.

I support Israel because of events that have occurred through history. I also support them because Hamas has used its civilians as canon fodder for years now, and no one should ever be used as cannon fodder, Its worse than civilian casualties.
