If you get the settings correct then Bandicam is a great HD recorder.

Here are my settings:

For FPS games use 60fps, then render it to 30fps in whatever you use.

Other games like Minecraft, I will usually end up using 30fps but 60 just seems cleaner to me.

Make sure you get this codec -> [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] !!! You need it and it is one of the best for recording software like Bandicam.

If you have an Nvidia 600 or 700 series GPU then you can use there ShadowPlay recording software.

It's a really good recording software because it barely causes you to lose any fps while recording and you can save clips without pressing the record button just like the Elgato recording software so that if you dont want to record all your games but something good happens that you want to save and upload then you can just save up to the last 20 minutes of gameplay.

honestly just use Fraps. You can get a cracked version and to upload to youtube is real easy.

Srs_Black wrote I used to use a few, dxtory, fraps, camtasia, they were OK, but still frame dipped a little.
The best game capture I have used so far is through Raptr, called Game DVR. Its the best that I have used. Thats me though, not saying its better than anything else.

I'm sure the guy is planning on recording his voice as well. I'm not trying to get into the argument at all, but I recently switched from Game DVR because it did not record 2 audio sources at once. Though it does have smaller file sizes and keeps quality just fine, without that dual audio recording, it's not going to have alot of people using it for gameplay videos.

BSM wrote I cant seem to find a good screen capturing software that either doesnt drop my frames or doesnt give me a work load of issues... I am willing to pay up to around 60 bucks for a screen recording software on PC (obviously) that wont drop my frames and wont be insanely confusing to use along with allowing me to upload to youtube.

Ive used
-Bandicam
-OBS
-Dxtory

All three are crap, bandicam was just mediocre and wasn't worth paying for .
OBS has terrible quality for me, records video at like 480p
Dxtory, no matter what I do it says itll take around 1400 min to upload to youtube and Im not paying for something that is going to take that long to upload.

Can someone help me with a good software? for +rep
what graphics card do you have ?
