Anyone know how to get verified on twitter. it all seems confusing and i haven't found a definite answer. I'm a musician and meet all the requirements to get a verified account. so if you know how to or by some grace of god you can verify an account just leave a comment or pm me. Thanks!

From what I've heard, they only bother verifying very popular accounts.
There isn't a way to verify yourself. (Pretty sure)

there are accounts with less followers than i have verified on twitter... (sad truth) i just hit 3k followers anyways and i have seen twitter verify account with less than 100 followers.

Twitter staff have the ability to verify you. The reason that some lesser accounts are verified is Twitter did a verification test and they let like 1500 users have verification for free.

There is no follower amount that makes you eligible for that. Twitter staff can do it, they pick accounts that are in high risk of imposters, such as celebrities or businesses.
