What's the chances of being banned if you change your Xbox Live tenure from 2 years to 4 years?

DON'T DO IT!

My old account was actually a legit account and I wanted the 8 year tenure mark just for the heck of it and I was banned a few days later. Permanently to be exact. Its definitely not something to mod.

You don't need to mod the number years to show to others that you are a good gamer...just play the games and play them well and you have nothing to worry about. Xbox has been cracking down really really hard on modders lately, so I would advise against this. If you want to mod your profile, make absolutely sure it is a life or death situation. If it is not absolutely needed then you probably shouldn't do it.

I have a modded 9 year tenure with glitched gamerscore on a silver and it hasn't been banned. I'm not sure what will happen if I do put gold onto it.

Some people have said that once you go online the tenure drops down to normal, but I don't know how true that is

Chances are, within 24 hours of you doing it it will be reset, or you will be banned so dont do it. Trust me

Theirs really no point in modding your tenure and it shows in their "Books" that you modded your tenure because they can see when you joined Xbox LIVE and how long you have had a membership. No point in a ban over something like this

Quite a high chance.

I changed it to 6 years (on a dummy account)and still not banned..

But I suggest you do not do it as there is a good chance of getting banned... Plus it is to 31/12/9999...

So do not do it on your main account.
