To start off with, I know this is a plain banner, I wasn't sure what to add as the background, however it turned out pretty nice and myself am happy with the result.
Banner:
NOTE: The banner is to full size (rectangle) because that's how I uploaded it to photobucket, it is a Youtube banner so imagine it on that size.

Dont put a stroke around a render, it just doesnt work.
I think the text is a little large and the font is too "cartoonish"
The twitter tag is a bit naff also.
Work on you colours and backgrounds.
Then build from that.
Just because there is alot of space, doesnt mean you have to fill it.
Sometimes the right text can do more than a stuffed banner

...I was debating to put a stroke around the render, so ill take your advice on that one.
I know, text is cartooney, was aiming for that style
And also will change the twitter tag, maybe a twitter image in there or something
