The human brain is complex. Along with performing millions of mundane acts, it composes concertos, issues manifestos and comes up with elegant solutions to equations. It's the wellspring of all human feelings, behaviors, experiences as well as the repository of memory and self-awareness. So it's no surprise that the brain remains a mystery unto itself.
Adding to that mystery is the contention that humans "only" employ 10 percent of their brain. If only regular folk could tap that other 90 percent, they too could become savants who remember to the twenty-thousandth decimal place or perhaps even have telekinetic powers.
What do you guys think? Truth or Myth?

The brain is the most fascinating part of the body, and we still don't know how it works fully.

You use all of your brain but only 10 percent at a time. For example, you can't remember the past and imagine the future at the same time because you use different parts of the brain for each.

With complete expansion of the mind the possibilities would be limitless.
Albert Einstein demonstrates this with his vast knowledge with a active percentage of his brain only at 20%.

The Truth
In all seriousness, I have too wild imagination to think of the possibilities that could arise with 100% brain power. If we can do complex tasks with 10%-20%, multiply that by 5 or 10 times. There's no doubt we could control pretty much everything with our mind with that much brain power. If only we knew how to induce it on a test subject to see the endless possibilities.

I'm surprised you didn't know that the whole "10% of your brain" thing was a myth.
A very well known myth at that. :p
