I just got the exact same thing a couple of hours ago and I haven't installed anything for months

Just noticed AdBlock has a feature where it allows "Non-intrusive" Ads, and is set on by default, maybe you have it checked?

I've tried this and it still there?

hmm, are you getting the same ads as OP?

been using AdBlock or years without any issues, so I'm honestly not sure how to stop it.

Yes same thing plus more ads, been using Adblocker & Adblocker+ for years with no problem since a few hours back

Quick Google search, and most people are saying to scan your system for malware.

Have you tried the good old, un-install and re-install?

or try, Clicking the Chrome menu button, then go to "Tools" and choose "Extensions". Find Adblock Plus there and ensure "Enabled" is ticked on the right.

On the AdBlock FAQ page it says to try creating a new browser profile, but warning, you will lose any favourites/bookmarks doing this.

1.Exit Google Chrome completely.

2.Enter the keyboard shortcut Windows key +E to open Windows Explorer.

3.In the Windows Explorer window that appears enter the following in the address bar.
Windows XP: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Windows Vista/ Windows 7/ Windows 8: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
Locate the folder called "Default" in the directory window that opens and rename it as "Backup default."

4.Try opening Google Chrome again. A new "Default" folder is automatically created as you start using the browser.

Ive had the same problem tried many things like adblocker and still nothing

the solution you have is to either restore or reset the computer/laptop

both will work
