OP, it depends on your budget mainly, but if you can then look into mechanical switches. Mainly Cherry MX Red/Blue/Brown

What mouse would you recommend? I've been looking at the razer deathadder because i like a more basic mouse but what would you recommend for games like runescape, minecraft, cod, bf4, crysis?

Edit: Is the Deathadder only green led or can you change the colour?

If you want a cheap, yet simple and great mouse, the Cooler Master Xoronet is great.
As for a keyboard, I will highly recommend a mechanical keyboard if you can afford it.

For the keyboard, is the Coolermaster storm quickfire ultimate a good keyboard? it has cherry mx red switches.

If you know of any other keyboards you recommend please do let me know. Im going for a red/black theme with my pc and im looking for black keyboard with red backlighting

I know the difference in the switches but thanks. Do you think i should spend abit more and get a ducky keyboard, or corsair vengeance?

To go from console to PC is easier than people say. I played Counter-Strike for about a month and a bit and got used to the mouse and keyboard quickly.

-Some games allow you to configure a wired Xbox controller as a substitute for mouse and keyboard.

Coolermaster storm quickfire ultimate is a brilliant keyboard, I am looking at getting one myself if i can afford it.
Ducky keyboards are great, but expensive.
The k70 is also a great keyboard, but I would rather have the Quickfire because the K70 is too expensive in my opinion.

Razor do some oretty sick mice it'll take 2 days to get used too.

Not long at all. Switched from console which I played since PS1 and got used to the mouse straight away at Christmas.
