It's 2billion views and counting for South Korean pop star Psy and his irrepressible Gangnam Style.

The surprise hit of 2012 has become the first YouTube video to surpass 2billion views, crossing the mark shortly before midnight Friday.

The unlikely viral star holds the record for most overall views and most views in a day with 38million for his Gangnam Style followup Gentleman.

Don't know if this counts as world news but just wanting to share. Don't really are for the song itself as it's annoying.

I absolutely hate this song i didn't understand the appeal when it was popular please just don't bring this thing up again it can hit 10 billion views and i could care less.
