Hi, I'm going to buy an rgh console soon..
I mainly want to host online on all cod's and perform recoveries.
I am in the UK so am thinking of buying from IVIonoxide.
But as a noob to jtags and modding I have no idea which motherboard I should choose..
I'm thinking of getting either the falcon, jasper or slim model (not sure of name of motherboard).
I want one of the newer models as I want less risk of overheating and the dreaded RROD,
But I have heard that the newer models are harder to unban/ change kv's
Would it be a good idea for a noob to buy one of these models? Or not?
Can anyone who is experienced with modding cod online give me any pointers?

All experienced modders please leave me some ideas and advice!!!
Will be much appreciated!!

Thank you!

Any motherboard could get online.
For Modding COD, it's pretty simple and to the point. Place the files you download on the game you're wanting to mod and load the game. Or you can use XRPC tools from your computer to send commands.
I am not sure if it is possible to purchase/achieve Lifetime stealth any more but it could possibly.

I bought a falcon RGH console not too long ago and found it pretty noob friendly. I have also played on it for long periods of time and have not had a problem overheating, though I also keep a small fan on it at all times just to be safe.

In my opinion I would get either a jasper or falcon RGH as the don't overheat very easily and you can find them for great prices.

If you want the link to the guy I bought from, you will have to PM me, but I am also in the US so not sure if he ships worldwide. My console came with 20GB HDD and all stuff needed to get me started for just $125.

Whatever motherboard you get can go online. And right now you don't have to pay for stealth if you use the sawyer files but kvs get banned pretty quick

Thanks goulding, and how often should I expect to be banned obviously using stealth and unshared kv?
And how difficult is it to get a new kv up and running after this happens?
Is it harder to do depending on which motherboard ur using?

And thanks vizor..
I was mainly thinking of these two models anyway
And will get a whisper fan mod added to console to help with over heating (whichever model I decide on)
So thiis shouldn't be a major problem

Thanks xeweegee
I have heard about the sawyer files, but wasn't sure if it was a scam etc..
Is this method pretty noob friendly? And can anybody estimate how long a kv would last using this method?

So it looks like my search is refined down to a falcon or jasper..
Anybody have any preferences between the 2? Considering the main things I want to use it for?
And would the slim model be completely out of the question? Reasons for this?

Please provide as much info as u can.. I'm here ready to learn!

Any console is in the question. It depends on the price you want to pay. If you want best for price I would go with Falcon. Slims can't do anything special..

How often should I expect to be banned obviously using stealth and unshared kv? Hosting COD Lobbies? Mine last around 8-12 hours.
And how difficult is it to get a new kv up and running after this happens? Easy as pie! Just get a new kv and put it on the root of your hdd. Simple.
Is it harder to do depending on which motherboard ur using? Not at all.

Well as I said.. I plan to buy from IVIonoxide.
And the price difference is pretty minimal,
So I guess in a way price is no object!
I just want the most reliable, user friendly model!

I have read a beginners guide to jtags here on ttg which included a full breakdown of pros and cons of each motherboard.
I believe it listed the jasper and falcon as harder to unban from xbl.
Is this true? Or is there not much difference?

Also can I get any more advice on sawyer files, xblse and xelivehive?
What are the differences?
Which service is preferred with all of u experienced modders out there??

And lastly.. Is it worth considering an r-jtag instead of an rgh?

1. No jtag is harder to unban from the other now. KV's can now be saved on the root of your HDD.
2. Dont use Sawyer= Every console in the house banned (on the network)
XBLSE=Been around the longest I personally use it, never had a problem.
Hive=Cheaper but i hear that there are some problems (Get what you pay for)
3. JTag=Instant boots, but the most common have RROD problems (Xenon and Zypher)
Jasper Jtags and Falcon Jtags have insta boot, less likely to RROD, But are VERY expensive.
RGH=Slow boot (Varies from instant to 2 min depending on how good soldering is) times but with slims/Falcon/Jasper the RROD is rare. They are also somewhat cheap depending on who you got them from.

Hope this helped.

Unbanning is the same, no matter what mother board you have. If you use a service like XeLiveHive, then you just put the unbanned KV on your HDD. Or you can always flash it to your console.

The sawyer files send back a legit value for the HV challenges. The problem with the sawyer files is that there is no XOSC spoofing. XOSC is the other challenge from Microsoft that basically checks to see if you open the disk tray and use a verified disk. And if you run games off of your HDD like almost all other modded console users, obviously this will show that you didn't use a disk, throwing up a red flag to Microsoft getting you banned.

As for the best service, I like to use XeLiveHive as it is easy to use and has a decent price. (though free would be much better)

And lastly, I do not know a whole lot about the difference in the types of modded consoles. But they all end in the same result, running unsigned code.
