That is only going to be beneficial if he is doing competitive gaming, for casual use, 3-5ms response is fine.

Packard-Bell Acer H236HLbid for a lower price. Budget IPS, thin bezel, nice semi-gloss finish. To those blindly suggesting Ben-Q, it's the HIGHER-END monitors of theirs that are good. Not this price point.
