Also, scrolling down the forum, I can see a lot of posts related to CoD in ways. It's mostly asking for help with either CoD or something related to getting to mod it.

Pretty much this, lack of 'innovation' is why we have to pay for things such as XBLSE. I mean you could argue if everybody could do it/it was distributed for free then MS would patch it quicker but nonetheless. Lack of innovation is what allows XBLSE to keep its prices high.
